Predator Ridge

As a key consultant for the prestigious Predator Ridge development in Vernon, BC, Aplin Martin played an integral role in delivering comprehensive civil engineering consulting services for the Master Planning and Utility Modeling of the area. The scope of our work encompassed a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including conducting utility modeling for sanitary, drainage, and water distribution systems, as well as performing a meticulous infrastructure assessment for the entire existing Predator Ridge development. This assessment aimed to identify any deficiencies, enabling us to update the utility master plan to accommodate the envisioned build-out scenarios for future developments surrounding the Ridge golf course. Our involvement extended to the detailed design of various proposed development parcels, contributing to the overall build-out plan, which anticipates the addition of up to 1000 remaining units. Notably, our successful execution of the design for the Meadows - Parcel L, a 27-lot single-family hillside subdivision, demonstrated our commitment to preserving the natural integrity of the area. Similarly, our meticulous planning for the Meadows - Parcel P, a 45-lot single-family hillside subdivision, emphasized the preservation of the hillside and surrounding golf course while optimizing views of Okanagan Lake.

Throughout the project, we faced several challenges, including the optimization of the subdivision layout within the steep hillside terrain, the need to simultaneously complete detailed design alongside preliminary design for future phases, and the demand for accelerated deliverable timelines. Additionally, the project's complex construction phasing necessitated the modeling of varying demand scenarios, underscoring our team's dedication to delivering comprehensive and adaptable solutions for the Predator Ridge development.
