Edmonton International Airport

Our project with Edmonton Regional Airports Authority involved the comprehensive surveying of all obstacles within the flight path approach for every runway at Edmonton International Airport. Aplin Martin took charge of this critical task, conducting surveys to identify and assess any potential obstacles that could impact the safe approach of aircrafts. Additionally, we prepared updated obstacle chart drawings for the Airport, which were subsequently provided to Nav Canada. This undertaking presented us with various challenges, notably the need to conduct surveys within a bustling municipal setting, demanding a high level of precision and meticulous planning to ensure the accurate identification and documentation of all obstacles.

Our dedicated team worked diligently to meet these challenges, employing advanced surveying techniques and thorough planning to deliver accurate and reliable data for the successful update of the obstacle charts, ultimately contributing to the safety and efficiency of the airport operations.
