Aplin Martin was engaged by UBC Properties Trust to review and report on the water, storm and sanitary infrastructure serving UBC. The systems were reviewed relative to existing and future demands. State of the art computer models were constructed and updated to investigate the municipal servicing required to develop 9000 market housing units at UBC and upgrade most of the existing antiquated servicing on campus to bring service levels to municipal standards.
Aplin Martin undertook servicing studies to evaluate the existing infrastructure for capacity and condition to establish a strategic Capital Works infrastructure upgrade program to meet current and future demands. Our team also developed a long term master servicing and upgrade plan for the UBC campus and developed specific infrastructure upgrade programs to facilitate the 5 independent development areas identified.
