For our client, Dawson & Sawyer Developments, we worked on a 164-unit townhouse development, offsite and onsite civil servicing. The land was very steep, had an existing water course bisecting it and needed to service sanitary flows to the east through Bear Creek Park in an environmentally sensitive area.
Innovative onsite storm water detention layouts were used to meet project requirements despite the steep natural slopes, the existing water course was relocated into a large secondary storm system that bypassed the site development area and a sanitary main was installed through the park with a high level of arborist coordination to ensure minimal disturbance to the land and trees in the park area while still providing adequate access and servicing for the area.
