Aplin Martin Announces Updates to Public Works Leadership

We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Steve Carney to the role of Director, Public Works.

Steve joined Aplin Martin as the Manager of Capital Works and Transportation in 2024. He has been a consistent driving force demonstrating a passion for the brand combined with genuine care for people that has helped fuel the continued growth of both the Surrey Capital Works and Transportation departments within the firm. In his new role, Steve will be managing our transportation division as well as leading the Public Works Division, where he will be responsible for spearheading collaboration across the firm through our regional public sector departments.

Our public sector departments see the promotions of Jeremy Hanson to the role of Manager, Surrey Capital Works and Roy Skeet to the role of Engineering Lead, Vancouver Capital Works.

Jeremy is an integral member of the Aplin Martin family. Throughout his 23-year tenure with the firm, he has had an indelible impact on the evolution of our Surrey Capital Works department as he continues to successfully grow and develop his portfolio of work and team members.

Roy has been a stalwart for capital works at Aplin since he joined the firm in 2007, spending time with the Surrey Capital Works group early in his career and then transitioning into the Vancouver region for the past several years. As an immutably positive presence, Roy continues to be a trusted expert to his team and across the organization.
