Welcome to the Aplin & Martin Consultants/Murray & Associates website.

We are a full-service civil engineering, planning and survey company with offices in Surrey, Abbotsford, Kelowna and Calgary. We provide cost-effective and innovative design and project management solutions for land development and capital works civil projects throughout British Columbia and Alberta.

Who we are, where we come from and what matters to us:

In 1968, we opened our doors as Aplin & Associates on Scott Road in Surrey, BC with just a handful of engineers and surveyors. Over the next decade or so, the firm grew in size and reputation. Eventually, the firm moved to 152nd and Fraser Highway in Surrey and was, at the time, about 40 people strong.

During the mid-70’s, we added an urban planning and design division to the team further rounding out our field of expertise. The firm continued to grow in strength and reputation among builders, developers and municipalities and in the construction community at large. In 1990, the firm moved to its present location on 82nd & 124th Street in Surrey.

Aplin & Martin Consultants spent the first 40 or so years building a strong foundation consisting of a team of talented and experienced engineers, designers, planners and surveyors as well as an excellent reputation in the community and was finally ready to branch out.

In October of 2007, we opened the second office of Aplin & Martin Consultants in Abbotsford, BC. A few years later, in April of 2010, our third office was born in Kelowna, BC.

And on July 3, 2012, we opened yet another office, this time in Calgary, Alberta.
