Aplin Martin was engaged by Chizen & Company and the Polish Heritage Society alongside other top firms in Edmonton (TBD Architecture + Urban Planning, Synergy Projects Ltd. and Casia Developments Ltd.) to undertake the site concept development, planning, feasibility, preliminary design, on-site and off-site detailed design, construction management, post construction, legal survey and construction survey services of the Centre Polonia mixed use site encompassing two purpose-built rental buildings (254 units) and a state-of-the-art community hall. The site built-form is inspired by a blend of Polish-European aesthetics and modern urban functionality which will undoubtedly contribute to the vibrancy of the neighborhood.
