Brentwood Redevelopment

Aplin Martin was engaged by the Brentwood Community Development Group to oversee Civil Engineering Services for the extensive Brentwood Redevelopment project. The scope included a range of services such as Concept development, Feasibility Study, Preliminary Design, Detailed Design, Construction Administration, Construction Management, and Post Construction phases.

The project aimed to transform an existing site of nearly 300 units into a 900-unit development over eight phases spanning a 15-year development horizon. One of the main challenges involved ensuring adequate infrastructure for both existing and new phases concurrently, requiring meticulous planning, design and execution. The redevelopment also necessitated multiple off-site infrastructure upgrades in a busy urban environment, adding further logistical complexities. In Stage 1, Aplin Martin's responsibilities included involvement in preliminary planning, concept development, site servicing schematic, and generating a drainage design report.  For Stage 2, we are undertaking detailed civil design, construction administration, construction management, and post construction tasks, demonstrating comprehensive involvement throughout the project's progression and lifecycle.
