What is Happening?
Aplin & Martin Consultants on behalf of Arcana Studio, has submitted an application to the Fraser Valley Regional District for an Official Community Plan Amendment and Rezoning of 44390 Bayview Road to accommodate the development of a film studio. We are proposing to rezone the Subject Site from Rural 3 to Rural 6.
Arcana Studio is proposing to build a Film Studio consisting of three (3) buildings: a soundstage (the first development phase) with potential future stages including studio space and a production residence. The proposed film studio will be built around a virtual production concept, which will use very small crews on site for short periods of time.
