PROJECT CIVIL ENGINEER Your understanding of municipal infrastructure design of water, sanitary sewerage, drainage and roadworks with extensive knowledge of the approval process will be used for the detailed design of municipal capital works projects and private land development projects. The position demands APEGBC registration as a PEng, coupled with 8 to 12 years of project experience including 3 to 5 years of detailed design experience. You have the ability to lead a project team, prepare and write proposals and technical reports and can communicate effectively with clients and government agencies. You must be able to administer project budgets and manage all aspects of design administration with clients and government agencies.
CIVIL ENGINEERING DESIGN TECHNOLOGIST We have an opportunity for an experienced design technologist to join our company. With several years of progressive experience in the land development sector, you will have demonstrated capabilities in the design of all aspects of municipal infrastructure, estimating and tender preparation. Excellent English language communication skills are essential. Working within a fully integrated computer system with planners and surveyors, you will be a competent AutoCAD user capable of working with complex digital files involving multiple professional disciplines. Candidates with experience in contract administration and have local experience in obtaining related municipal approvals would be preferred.
